Just want to clarify something about this rule:
"-A player is eligible for the minor leagues if they meet the following criteria:
• Less than 130 AB or 50 IP in the majors.
• They are currently in the minors in real life.
***AB and IP requirement lock at the beginning of the season so if a player qualifies as a minor leaguer at the beginning of a season they will be eligible all season as long as they are not promoted to your major league team."
If a player has passed the 130AB/50IP threshold but they begin the season in the minor leagues are they also eligible to stay there all year?

In the offseason it is pretty cut and dry. The player must be below the 130/50 innings limits to be considered a minor leaguer.
The statement about being on the minors in real life is really for during the regular season. if a player that is over the limit and is carrying a major league contract gets sent down you can also put that player in a minors spot as long as the real life counterpart is in the minors.

Ok thank you.
So let's say a player gets sent down in real life and I send down the fantasy version as well. Then a few weeks later he gets called Back up in real life. Do I have to call him up in fantasy or would I be able to leave him in the minors?

I have never actually used Fantrax as a commissioner before and their site is not 100% clear on the enforcement of this either. Here is what it says on the site in regards to the setting:
In the Minors: Players can be moved to the Minors slot if they are officially in the minor leagues, indicated with a green flag next to their name. This generally includes any non-MLB league, including college and overseas leagues.
When i read this i am thinking that if you have someone that no longer qualifies then you will have to remove them because they would lose this status where as the other setting has an option to deselect that will not count stats from the current season towards their AB/IP totals. My educated guess is that you will have to move them back to your active roster if their real life counterpart is moved back.
Has anyone had Fantrax experience to add insight as to how the sight enforces this rule. We in the end will end up doing what the site has capability of doing.

In another league of mine on fantrax, if a player is in a minor league slot but is no longer in the minors(called up and playing MLB) your rosters will continue to be legal, fantrax does not force you to remove the player from your minor league slot. This rule has to be enforced independently.
